In the Los Angeles area, where I grew up, the "soft rock" station (I'm pretty sure every city has one of these, yes?) was/is KOST 103.5. As a young teenager I developed the habit of tuning my clock radio in to KOST before I went to bed, setting the timer function for an hour or so, and drifting off to sleep to the sounds of "Lovesongs On The Coast", their nighttime program. KOST played a lot of Anita Baker in those days. I am guessing that they still do. And, really, who can blame them? These songs are good and unlike a lot of other stuff of the same genre that came out in the mid-eighties, this album doesn't sound completely cheesy after 20 years (Hello, Whitney Houston.). Anyone who doesn't secretly love pretty much every song on this album has something wrong with them as far as I am concerned.
Favorite tracks: "Sweet Love", "Caught Up In The Rapture", "You Bring Me Joy", "No One In The World"

I admit: I owned this album when it came out.
